WHAT IS DAILY MONEY MANAGEMENT?

Daily Money Managers (DMMs) deliver essential financial services to a wide variety of clients including older adults, people in life transitions and busy professionals. DMMs bring clarity and order to an individual's daily management of personal bills, budgets, account reconciliation and record keeping.  Select Organizational Services also provides referrals to legal, tax and investment professionals, trust and estate administration, notary services and organization of tax materials.  Members of the American Association of Daily Money Managers are trusted professionals who abide by the AADMM Code of Ethics.

We begin with a complimentary informational interview where you can get to know me and I can understand your needs.  Together, we determine how best to serve you. 

AVAILABLE SERVICES:

  • Bill paying, including calls to payees regarding incorrect bills and preparation of checks for client signature

  • Balancing checking accounts, review bank statements

  • Organizing documents for tax preparation 

  • Sort and review mail, including analysis of health insurance statements

  • Organize and maintain files

  • Referrals to legal, tax and investment professionals

  • Accompany client to meetings with professionals as requested

  • Trustee and Executor 

  • Assist Trustees and Executors

  • Temporary or Durable Power of Attorney

I practiced law in San Francisco for 15 years before moving to Portland in 2005.  Skills and knowledge from that career have been the foundation to my daily money management business.   I bring efficient financial analysis, personalized services, and recommendations tailored to each client's unique set of facts.  I appreciate the variety of people and issues inherent to this work, and I value the opportunity to provide support, guidance and clarity.





 

My first client was my mother. She said she felt lucky to have my help with her financial and legal affairs as she got older.  It made me feel good to assist her in a meaningful way and to see the relief it gave her. I have the same feeling now when I see relief on a client's face.
